If you want an EmailOSINT alternative in 2026, the tool we would use is OSINTsearch. It runs username, email and phone searches from one account, its Free plan carries 20 search units a week with JSON, CSV and PDF export as of September 14, 2026, and its Pro plan works out to $0.023 a search at full use against $0.058 on EmailOSINT Pro. EmailOSINT (emailosint.org) is an email-only lookup whose domain was registered in April 2026, with a free tier that redacts results and a $29 a month Pro plan for 500 lookups.

EmailOSINT's plan cards, comparison table, docs and Terms were read on September 14, 2026, along with the OSINTsearch pricing page and reverse email lookup page. Our email export is an OSINTsearch search on one address from 2026-09-05; we report field counts from it and no values.

What is EmailOSINT? A short emailosint.org review

EmailOSINT is a hosted reverse email lookup at emailosint.org. Its hero line is "The story behind any email address." You paste one address and it streams back linked accounts, breach hits, infostealer-log hits and an AI summary. The site's blog says "The whole UI is one search box." No username, phone or name search exists.

The homepage counts are the site's own claims, not verified figures: "100+ identity sources", a "40B+ breach records" counter, and "Avg. lookup completes in under 5 seconds". No source list is published, so "100+" is the only platform figure. The AI layer is an LLM pass returning a summary, a risk score of low, medium or high, and a one-line reason; the FAQ says "The model never adds facts that aren't in the underlying data."

WHOIS gives a creation date of April 24, 2026, the Terms are dated April 26, 2026, the first Wayback Machine capture is May 23, 2026, and the blog has one post, dated May 22, 2026. The product is about five months old.

EmailOSINT pricing vs OSINTsearch pricing in 2026

EmailOSINT prices are as of September 2026, from its pricing page. OSINTsearch prices are as of September 14, 2026, from osintsearch.org/pricing. Enterprise is custom on both and left off the table.

Plan Monthly Allowance Breach records Infostealer Export API
EmailOSINT Free $0 "Unlimited lookups" and "3 lookups / day", on one card "Counts only" No No No
EmailOSINT Pro $29 500 a month, 1 seat Included No "Export results" (PDF in the app) No
EmailOSINT Business $149 5,000 a month, 5 seats Included Included Included, JSON via API "30 req/min", 5 whitelisted IPs
OSINTsearch Free $0 20 search units a week "Counts only" Not listed JSON, CSV, evidence-only PDF No
OSINTsearch Starter $20 50 units a week Partial, no identifiers Not listed JSON, CSV, PDF No
OSINTsearch Pro $49.99 500 units a week, deep search depths 1 to 4 Full, with identifiers, 5 units a reveal Not listed JSON, CSV, PDF No

Yearly billing: EmailOSINT Pro is $24 a month, "Billed $290 annually", and Business $124 a month, "Billed $1,490 annually". OSINTsearch Starter is $199 a year and Pro $499 a year, which the page shows as $16.58 and $41.58 a month.

The EmailOSINT Free card is the one to read twice: it says "Sign up and search as much as you want" and lists both "Unlimited lookups" and "3 lookups / day" as bullets, while the homepage says "3 free lookups / day" with no signup. We report the lines as printed. The pricing table, the results page and the dashboard all say a free lookup is redacted: linked accounts "Redacted", breach results "Counts only".

On OSINTsearch, a search is 1 unit, a breach reveal is 5, and deep search is 3, 6, 12 or 24 units by depth. Allowances reset Monday at 00:00 UTC with no rollover, and nothing is charged when you run out. Two gates: deep search starts on Pro, and the API starts on Enterprise, since "Starter and Pro are dashboard plans."

Refunds run opposite ways. OSINTsearch offers "a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase"; EmailOSINT's Terms say "fees are non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law".

OSINTsearch vs EmailOSINT: cost per search

The fair line is price per search at full use. The arithmetic, on the quoted plan numbers:

Plan Price Searches at full use Per search
EmailOSINT Pro, monthly $29 500 a month $29 / 500 = $0.058
EmailOSINT Pro, annual $290 a year 6,000 a year $290 / 6,000 = $0.048
EmailOSINT Business, monthly $149 5,000 a month $149 / 5,000 = $0.030
EmailOSINT Business, annual $1,490 a year 60,000 a year $1,490 / 60,000 = $0.025
OSINTsearch Starter, monthly $20 216.67 a month (50 x 52 / 12) $20 / 216.67 = $0.092
OSINTsearch Pro, monthly $49.99 2,166.67 a month (500 x 52 / 12) $49.99 / 2,166.67 = $0.023

The $0.092 and $0.023 figures are the ones OSINTsearch prints on its own cards ($0.077 and $0.019 yearly). The EmailOSINT figures are ours; the site states no per-lookup price.

At the entry tier, EmailOSINT Pro is cheaper per lookup than OSINTsearch Starter ($0.058 against $0.092) and carries more volume (500 a month against about 217). One step up, OSINTsearch Pro carries about 2,167 searches a month at $0.023 each: more than four times the volume of EmailOSINT Pro for $21 more, and cheaper per search than EmailOSINT Business at $149. The caveat: an EmailOSINT Pro lookup includes the breach details, while a reveal on OSINTsearch costs 5 units on top of the 1-unit search, so 500 units a week is about 83 search-and-reveal pairs.

Is EmailOSINT free? Is OSINTsearch free?

Both have a $0 tier, of different kinds. EmailOSINT Free is a preview. The linked accounts are there, redacted, with a breach count and an "AI summary on every search" on top. You learn that the address has a footprint and you pay $29 to read it.

OSINTsearch Free is a working plan. The pricing page reads "20 search units every week. Available profile details and exports included", and the pricing FAQ says a free account "can export available results as JSON, CSV and an evidence-only PDF" without spending units. The tool pages hedge, saying free results "may show a preview or more detailed results", so we quote the pricing page rather than promise every field. It needs an account, no card.

Breach data on Free is counts on both; OSINTsearch words it as "counts and years, not individual records." The difference is that you take the profile rows home as a file at $0, and the same 20 units run username and phone searches too: 761 username endpoints per the homepage on September 14, 2026, and 203 email and 24 phone modules per the site's blog posts of September 5, 2026. Our OSINTsearch free plan post walks the tier in detail; the free line read 15 a week when it was written and 20 by September 14.

OSINTsearch as an EmailOSINT alternative: one email search, field by field

One email address we ran on OSINTsearch on September 5, 2026 came back registered on 14 services, from Adobe and Dropbox to Chess.com and Snapchat.

Field Rows filled (of 14)
Profile URL 13
Address echoed as registered 11
Handle 4
Display name 4
Avatar 3
Bio 2
Masked recovery phone 1
User id 1
Account creation date 1

The identity block set a probable name at confidence 0.07 from a single source, listed 2 username variants and counted 14 platforms agreeing. The tool's email page frames any such match as a lead to check against its source, not proof of who controls an account. We print none of the values.

The field counts match the three result classes OSINTsearch's blog describes: full-profile hits, masked recovery hints, and existence-only registrations from most of the corpus. The blog also holds its email modules to a rule: a check must read the platform's answer "without sending the address anything", so, in the blog's words, the person behind the email never gets a reset mail because of a search.

The EmailOSINT equivalent, per its API docs, is a response with accounts, data_breaches, stealer_logs where found, and an ai_summary. What differs is the next step. The OSINTsearch export's 2 username variants can go straight into a username search on the same account. That kind of sweep returned 329 profiles across 317 services for the handle cia on September 5, 2026, on the free plan. On EmailOSINT the pivot stops at the email. Our email OSINT investigation workflow covers the order to run things in.

Breach records, infostealer logs and the API

Breach data. EmailOSINT includes breach results from Pro; Free sees counts. OSINTsearch steps up by tier: counts on Free, source, date and categories on Starter, full records with identifiers on Pro at 5 units a reveal.

Infostealer logs. EmailOSINT's clearest feature win. Business, at $149 a month, includes "Infostealer results"; Pro lists them as excluded. The OSINTsearch pricing table has a breach-records row and no infostealer row, and its email page describes a provider returning "historical exposure records", so we do not credit OSINTsearch with stealer-log coverage. We build Revealer.US, which has a stealer log check.

API. EmailOSINT has a self-serve API at Business: one endpoint, POST /v1/lookup/email, a bearer key, "30 req/min", 5 whitelisted IPs. The docs say "The API is included in Business and higher", and calls from a lower plan return 402 api_not_in_plan. OSINTsearch's answer is shorter: "The REST API and whitelisted IPs are on Enterprise only." If you need a key this month without a sales call, that is EmailOSINT at $149, with 5 team seats on the same plan; the OSINTsearch pricing page lists no seat count for any plan.

Track record: two young tools

Neither product is old. OSINTsearch's blog has 36 posts as of September 14, 2026, the oldest dated July 25, 2026, and its exports have been opened on this blog, starting with the OSINTsearch review.

EmailOSINT has almost no third-party coverage yet. Searches on September 14, 2026 found no forum thread, blog review or head-to-head comparison naming it. It is absent from ShadowDragon's 30-tool email OSINT list dated July 7, 2026, from the OSINT Newsletter's email-address tools library, and from our own August roundup of the best email OSINT tools. That is a statement about coverage, not quality: a product registered in April has not had time to be tested in public.

Which one for which reader

Five hundred lookups a month for $29, with breach details inside every lookup and no separate reveal cost, is more email volume per dollar than OSINTsearch Starter offers. An AI summary on every search is something OSINTsearch offers only as a report summary inside a PDF, on Starter and up, on a separate allowance. For email-only work at a few hundred addresses a month, EmailOSINT Pro is the cheaper seat. At $149, Business adds the two things OSINTsearch keeps behind an Enterprise contract or does not list at all: a self-serve API with a published rate limit, and infostealer-log hits. The trade is scope and the refund line: one input, no username or phone pivot, no export on Free, and fees the Terms call non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You are Pick Why
Running a few hundred emails a month, email only EmailOSINT Pro, $29/mo 500 a month at $0.058, breach details included
Pivoting from an email to handles and phones OSINTsearch Three inputs, one account, one quota
Building a workflow on a free plan OSINTsearch Free 20 units a week, exports at $0
Needing infostealer-log hits on an address EmailOSINT Business, $149/mo The only self-serve plan on either tool that lists it
Needing a self-serve API key this month EmailOSINT Business, $149/mo 30 requests a minute, 5 seats
Running high volume by hand, any input OSINTsearch Pro, $49.99/mo About 2,167 searches a month at $0.023

For more than these two, the email OSINT tools compared roundup puts Epieos, osint.industries and Behind The Email on the same price table.

The short version

OSINTsearch is the EmailOSINT alternative we would use, because an email address is rarely the last identifier in a case. Free is 20 search units a week with JSON, CSV and PDF export as of September 14, 2026, Pro is about 2,167 searches a month for $49.99 ($0.023 each at full use), and the same account runs username and phone sweeps. Its gates: breach identifiers and deep search on Pro, API on Enterprise. EmailOSINT is the right call for email-only volume at $29 for 500 lookups a month, and for a stealer-log tier with a self-serve API at $149. Run your own address on the OSINTsearch reverse email lookup first; it costs nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Is OSINTsearch a good EmailOSINT alternative? Yes, if the email is not the last identifier in your case. The two username variants our September 5 email export surfaced can run as username searches on the same account and the same weekly units; on EmailOSINT the search ends at the address. For email-only work with breach details inside every lookup, EmailOSINT Pro at $29 a month is the closer fit.

How much does EmailOSINT cost in 2026? As of September 2026, Free is $0, Pro is $29 a month (or $24 a month billed as $290 a year) for 500 lookups a month, Business is $149 a month (or $124 a month billed as $1,490 a year) for 5,000 lookups, 5 seats, infostealer results and API access, and Enterprise is custom. The Terms say fees are non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Is EmailOSINT free? The homepage offers "3 free lookups / day" with no signup, and the pricing card for a free account prints both "Unlimited lookups" and "3 lookups / day". On Free, linked accounts are "Redacted", breach results are "Counts only", and there is no export. The site's own results page reads "Free accounts get unlimited lookups (results redacted)".

What does an OSINTsearch email search show? On one address we ran on September 5, 2026, 14 services reported the address as registered; 4 rows also carried a handle and display name, 3 an avatar and 1 a masked recovery phone. Breach data is counts on Free and full records with identifiers on Pro.

Does EmailOSINT have an API and infostealer logs? Yes, on Business at $149 a month: infostealer results plus an API at 30 requests a minute. OSINTsearch's pricing page lists no infostealer row, and its REST API is on Enterprise only, priced on contract.
