This is a criteria comparison built from each vendor's own public pages, not a lab test. We did not run the same target through every product, so there are no hit counts. Each tool was checked on seven points:

What Whitepages gives you free, and what Premium adds
The pricing page's own FAQ says cell phone numbers, advanced property data, and background checks require Premium.
Premium is sold as metered lookups. Premium Contact Info costs $5.99 a month for 20 contact-info lookups (all phones and addresses). Premium Business is $10.99 a month for 20 or 100 lookups and adds emails, property data, and bulk Speed Search. All-Access is $35.99 a month with 20 background reports, and Enterprise is $119.99 a month for 500 to 1,000 lookups. The FAQ on the same page quotes lower starting figures ($9.99, $32.99, and $109.99), so expect the number to move with billing term. A single background report is $11.99, there is a $1 five-day trial, and plans auto-renew with cancellation any time.
Whitepages also sells a Pro API: a 14-day free trial with 50 queries, then $0.22 per query, dropping to $0.15 at 2,500 to 30,000 queries a month. As of September 2026 the site no longer lists TenantCheck, the /tenantcheck address returns a not-found page, and the plan FAQ states Whitepages cannot be used for employment or tenant screening or any FCRA-regulated purpose.
Whether Whitepages Premium is worth it comes down to your lead. For one cell number, $5.99 for 20 lookups is the cheapest paid option in this comparison. For an email address or a username, it cannot help, because Whitepages does not search by either.

Every search runs live, in real time, at the moment you run it, against public sources and endpoints Revealer does not own, and Revealer does not retain your search data. The free plan gives 50 people lookups a day, 10 social lookups a day, and 10 breach lookups a day, all as redacted previews, with no card required. Paid plans start at $12.99 a month (Starter), with Basic at $29.99 and Pro at $79.99, which adds full Device Exposures (50 a day), 500 social lookups a day, unlimited breach lookups, and API access with 3 whitelisted IPs.
The parts Whitepages does not have are the identifier pivots: username search across 800+ platforms, email lookup, and a data breach lookup by email, username, phone, or domain that shows where an identifier has already been exposed. No plan reveals plaintext passwords or hashes; credentials are redacted on every tier.
The limits. Revealer is a search layer over public and third-party sources it does not own, so results are data-forward rather than a narrated report. It is not a consumer reporting agency, and removal is suppression, not deletion.
Spokeo: cheapest way to add email and username search
Spokeo accepts name, phone, email, username, and address. Its help center says a free search may show city and state, age, relatives, and locations; everything past that needs a membership. Consumer subscriptions include up to 100 searches a month, unused searches do not roll over, and phone and name searches cover US numbers and addresses only.
Spokeo's FAQ and help pages do not print a price. Its purchase page does: $19.95 for one month, or $14.95 a month on a three-month term billed $44.85, as of September 2026. Refunds go through Customer Care, and court and historical records are add-ons. Pick Spokeo when your lead is an email or handle and you want a consumer report rather than raw source data.
BeenVerified: full feature set on any plan, US only
BeenVerified sells one membership with every search type included: people, reverse phone, email, address, property, criminal and traffic records, and vehicle history. The pricing page lists $36.89 a month on a month-to-month plan or $23.98 a month on a three-month term ($71.94 up front). There is no free tier; the company sells a paid 7-day trial (BeenVerified's own page describes $1 trials for new customers; the exact amount shows at checkout), and records are US-only.
Cancellation is documented in detail (account page, chat, email, phone), and the FAQ offers a refund if you are dissatisfied. It costs the most month to month of any tool here and has no username search or published API.
Intelius: unlimited reports, trial-first pricing
Intelius searches by name, phone, and address, with unlimited reports on every membership. The pricing page lists a reverse-phone-plus-people-search plan at $0.95 for a five-day trial, then $35.30 a month, and a people search plan at $21.35 a month billed every two months ($42.69). Downloadable report files cost a one-time $3.99.
Intelius is a reasonable Whitepages substitute for name and phone work, and the trial makes one urgent lookup cheap. It has no email or username search, no free results, and no API; the page notes prices can change without notice.
TruePeopleSearch: the free full record
TruePeopleSearch describes itself as a 100 percent free people search with no signups and no teasers. Searches accept name, phone, address, and email, and its homepage says a reverse phone result returns the name, current address, address history, relatives, and associates. The site also lists an API.
The limit is scope: US public records only, with no social or breach layer. If a free reverse phone lookup is the whole job, start here.
FastPeopleSearch: free, with address history back 40 years
FastPeopleSearch searches by name, phone, and address. Its homepage says the service is 100 percent free and US-wide, with address lookups going back up to 40 years, and reverse phone returns the owner's name and other contact information. Business users are pointed to a partner API.
Like TruePeopleSearch, it is records-only: no email, username, social, or breach coverage.
Social Catfish: reverse image search for dating and scam checks
Social Catfish searches by name, email, phone, username, address, and image. A free search shows partial results (for example, that three social accounts were found) without naming the platforms. Its FAQ lists a social search trial at $5.73 for five days, then $27.48 a month, and an image search trial at $5.99 for five days, then $26.99 a month; a second passage on the same FAQ quotes $28.94 to $28.97 a month, so expect the checkout figure to vary. Sign-up is not available in Europe.
