As of September 14, 2026, OSINTsearch Free is 20 search units a week with JSON, CSV and PDF export included, and Starter is $20 a month for 50 a week, which the site prices at $0.092 a search at full use. Epieos Member is €0.00 a month, its card listing Google, Email Checker and Skype, watermarked, and Osinter is €29.99 a month for 30 full-access requests, about €1.00 each. OSINTsearch also takes a username as a first-class input across 761 endpoints; Epieos does not offer username search on any public page.
The evidence comes from both sites as read on September 14, 2026, and from two OSINTsearch exports out of our own account: one run on an email address on September 5, 2026, and the free-plan username run of the handle cia the same day. We hold no Epieos result file; its result descriptions come from its own pages and blog. Epieos bills in euros before VAT, OSINTsearch in US dollars; we do not convert.
Email, phone and username: what each tool takes as input
Epieos's homepage headline is "The ultimate OSINT tool for email and phone reverse lookup", and the search box has two tabs, Email and Phone. Its /username path redirects to a magic-link sign-in page, and no public page mentions username search. Our earlier Epieos alternatives post called it email-only; the live site, read on September 14, 2026, has a Phone tab and a Phone Checker module, so consider that line corrected.
OSINTsearch takes username, email and phone. The homepage lists "761 endpoints per scan" for username on September 14, 2026. Its blog dated September 5, 2026 sizes the other two sweeps at 203 email modules and 24 phone modules; the tool pages say "supported sources" without a number, so those counts carry the blog's date.
Epieos pricing in 2026: how much does it cost?
Epieos's pricing page lists three plans, as of September 14, 2026.

The asterisk on "All modules*" points to a footnote naming 25 modules: Google, Email Checker (+200 sites), Skype, LinkedIn, Nike Run Club, Fitbit, GitHub, Duolingo, Asics Runkeeper, Adidas Runtastic, Strava, Vivino, Facebook, Proton Mail, Phone Checker, Etsy, Have I Been Pwned?, Dropbox, Foursquare, Flickr, Chess.com, Substack, Trello, Notion and Gravatar. Email Checker is itself a multi-site check.
Two things the page does not say. No daily quota; the only usage figure is Osinter's 30 requests a month, and the Terms say unused credits "cannot be carried over the next month". No API price; API access sits on Custom and the April 2026 blog calls it "open request". The Terms add that prices are "exclusive of tax" and that "EPIEOS does not make any refunds", including on termination partway through a month.
Is OSINTsearch free, and what does it cost?
Yes. The OSINTsearch pricing page as of September 14, 2026 reads "20 search units every week. Available profile details and exports included." for Free, and its FAQ adds "JSON, CSV and an evidence-only PDF". No card at signup.

Quotas reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC with no rollover; when you run out, "Searches are refused until the next reset, and nothing is charged." Refunds: "a full refund within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase", then no prorated refunds. Three plan gates: breach reveals need a paid plan, deep search is on Pro and Enterprise, and "The REST API and whitelisted IPs are on Enterprise only." Epieos meters full-access requests per month; OSINTsearch meters search units per week. To compare, we spread weekly quotas across a month (52 weeks over 12, so times 4.33) and assume every unit is used. Prices are as of September 14, 2026.

The arithmetic on Osinter is €29.99 divided by 30, about €1.00 per request; on Starter it is $20 divided by 216.67, the $0.092 the site prints on its card. By volume, OSINTsearch Free alone runs nearly three times as many searches a month as Osinter; by unit cost, an Osinter request is roughly eleven Starter searches, before any currency conversion.
What a search returns on each, and what you can export
Epieos. Its homepage promises "Only real-time results from social networks" with clickable links, and its April 2026 blog sizes the tiers as "approximately ten social networks" on Member, "up to 200 social networks and online platforms" on Osinter and "over 560 platforms" on a private version for law enforcement and trusted organizations. An anonymous visitor on September 14, 2026 gets eight email modules (Google, Gravatar, Trello, Duolingo, Strava, Vivino, Flickr and HIBP) and two phone modules (Phone Checker and HIBP). Epieos publishes no field-level description of a result.
OSINTsearch. Its blog groups email hits into three classes: full profiles (display name, location, avatar, linked socials, user id); masked recovery identifiers, a partly hidden phone or email; and existence-only registrations, which is most of the corpus. One address we ran on September 5, 2026 came back registered on 14 services, from Adobe and Dropbox to Chess.com and Snapchat; four of those rows also carried a handle and display name, three an avatar, and one a masked recovery phone. That is what an email search mostly is: a map of where an address is registered, with richer detail on a minority of services. The reverse email lookup page calls a match "a lead to check against its source".
The username sweep is where the two part company. The OSINTsearch free-plan export for the handle cia, run on September 5, 2026, lists 329 profiles across 317 distinct services (the 321 timestamped rows were scraped inside a 34-second window): 291 rows with a display name, 221 with a user id, 213 with an avatar link, 160 with a real creation date, 100 with a bio and 51 with a location. A handle found on Epieos still needs a username tool for the pivot; on OSINTsearch the pivot is the next search.
OSINTsearch Free exports JSON, CSV and an evidence-only PDF "without spending search credits". The email export we opened is a schema 2 JSON file with a meta block, an identity block and one row per platform. Epieos's Member card lists a heavy watermark and Osinter a light one; its blog describes JSON, CSV, PDF and image ZIP export without saying which plan gets it.
On breaches, Epieos runs Have I Been Pwned as a visitor module for email and phone, so a breach-name check comes free with no account; OSINTsearch has no equivalent for an anonymous visitor. It steps breach access by tier: "Counts only" on Free ("counts and years, not individual records"), source, date and categories with no identifiers on Starter, and full records with the identifiers found on Pro at 5 units per reveal, with password and Social Security number values excluded at every tier per its Privacy Policy. Who each tool is sold to
Epieos's Terms are explicit: the platform is "available only to business customers" acting in their trade or profession, and "is not intended for consumers nor for minors". Every search requires ticking that you "act in a professional/business capacity". Its headline privacy line: "We do not log your queries", with the Terms making the client "solely responsible for recording requests". No opt-out route is published for a person who appears in results.
OSINTsearch's Terms require that you be at least 18, and its footer says it is not a consumer reporting agency. On logging it is Epieos's opposite: search terms, timestamps and IPs are retained, "This metadata is not anonymous", with logs configured for cleanup after 90 days. It also publishes an opt-out page, "Free, with no account required". A private individual checking their own footprint is inside OSINTsearch's terms and outside Epieos's, which are written for business customers only.
Where Epieos is the right call
Four cases. First, the Google module: reviewers, not Epieos's own pages, describe it as returning an account's name, profile photo and last-active timestamp, and the email modules OSINTsearch's blog names as examples (Gravatar, GitHub, WordPress, Microsoft, Facebook, Instagram) do not include a Google account module. Second, LinkedIn, which Osinter names on its card and OSINTsearch's public pages do not advertise.
Third, track record: the Epieos footer reads 2019 to 2026 and its blog claims "a global community of over 6 million users", against a tool whose privacy policy took effect on July 12, 2026 and whose oldest blog post is dated July 25, 2026. Fourth, the no-logging posture and the private version with "over 560 platforms", which matter to law enforcement and professional investigators. If those describe your job, Osinter at €29.99 for 30 requests is a fair price, and the 560-platform version is by request through Epieos.
